PictureGathering at the Elm Bank care home.
Rod was asked by the Elm Bank nursing home in Barton Seagrave if it is possible to arrange for some motorbikes to attend the home as part of the residents “wish list” as many of the residents remember their younger days on two wheels and really liked having some bikes visit,
Rod asked that club members to meet at the Village Green, Barton Seagrave at 6.15pm and then he led the way to the home.
Following a short visit Rod then led the ride to the new venue the Crown in Wellingborough for the weekly club meeting.

Matt sent in a report on the rideout as follows:
I am sure the trip to Elm Park nursing home brought a lot of joy not only to those that managed to get outside but also to those that were looking out of the windows and giving us a wave - a good early evening turn out and Well Done Rod for suggesting the idea.
Rod also led the ride from Elm Park back to the Crown at Wellingborough - without losing anyone - where we were joined by many who were not at last week's first trial evening.

Thanks go to Matt for the words and photographs and to Paul Ollet who has written a note of thanks on the clubs behalf to Ruth at the nurding home.
Above all thanks must also go to Rod and those members who supported him in his effort to bring a smile to some of the residents and a reminder of happy days gone by.
John
