After an email was circulated among the membership a last minute run for those lucky folk who can make it on a Friday was decided upon. Seven riders and bikes made it out into the damp Friday for a gentle run around Northamptonshires Welland Valley. Matt led the way on Eddies old Norton Model 7 fitting in a stop at East Carlton country parks cafe. This proved to be exceptional value, for instance
three of us enjoying a mug of tea or coffee and a good bacon roll for £2.70. each.
After the cafes delights we headed of into improving weather meandering back towards Matts house again.
We were all a little rusty as most of us havnt been out for a while. Derrick proved this when he dropped his 250 Honda actually on Matts drive whilst doing a U turn.
Never mind it was still rideable. After a bit of bike fiddling on the drive it was indoors for tea buns and biscuits before we headed off home having verbally sorted out the countries problems and policies.
