The clubs Christmas party was held at the clubs usual meeting place The Nineteenth Hole in Irchester.
This year a new format was chosen by those members at one of the November club nights. Stuff the Turkey where we have fish and chips delivered to the pub was replaced by a more conventional Christmas dinner made by the pub landlord and bottle washer John. This was seen as a way of thanking John for allowing us to continue to use his premises every week.
Attendance was over forty people with our own members and spouses joined by guests from the Triumph club.
The whole evening seemed to be enjoyed by all with the raffle being a big success this year as I won a bottle of Irish whiskey which despite what some of our fellow members think, has not been drunk yet. See the photo date stamp.
I hope every one had a merry Christmas and has a prosperous new year.
