December rides and my NSU.

It seems that very few wish to venture out on the P&J's now that roads have been salted although I find a hose pipe and decent car shampoo with time and effort keep my oily rag bikes in great condition.
Of course being the proud recipient of the "Concours to Oily Rag" trophy at our annual club dinner I guess keeping my bikes clean is a far easier job for me? On the subject of Oily Rag bikes those attending Club nights will be aware that early last month I acquired another, slightly different from the norm motorbike and yes true to fashion within 24 hours I had undone so many nuts and bolts that all I had left on the ramp was a frame and a few wires.
Well I am pleased to say that the bike is now back on the road and after a few more bodges is almost oil tight.........slight leak might be down to the fact that I am using straight 20 oil in the engine and gearbox.......well that's what my English version of the original manual says, but I may well try the next grade when I complete a few more miles having only done 140 in the last two weeks - my excuse for such low mileage is that it is December and the nights draw in very quick plus of course I have also been riding 3 other bikes!
Anyway waffle over - I attach the pictures I sent to Carol Nash in order to get an agreed valuation which was done by return of post - thought I must have left a nought off but I didn't.
